Superhero Bits : ‘Wonder Woman 3’ still happening?, ‘Doctor Who’ star rumored for Reed Richards

DC

A couple of interesting comic book movie bits are doing the rounds, both of which pertain to projects that were inching forward – if even slowly – before the strikes.

Firstly, according to a new article, Gal Gadot will stay on as Wonder Woman in a third film in that series. Gadot and Patty Jenkins (director of the first two films) will work with studio chiefs on the stencil for the film – which is said to be more a reboot than a sequel, meaning it’ll likely not connect to earlier movies. Going by that, it’s possible that Gadot will play a different Wonder Woman – from another universe – in the new film.

Speaking with ComicBook.com, Heart of Stone and Red Notice star Gadot said :

“From what I heard from James [Gunn] and from Peter [Safran] is that we’re gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together.”

A Twitter scooper had more to share :

Secondly, rumors that “Doctor Who” and Terminator Genisys star Matt Smith has been offered the Reed Richards role in Fantastic Four – after Adam Driver passed – apparently have some truth to them. The rumor, kicked off by internet scooper Daniel RPK, might be null and void though.. which Smith’s reps confirming today that he’s not doing it.

In addition to Driver, Margot Robbie and Daveed Diggs are reportedly no longer in talks to take on the role of Sue Storm and Ben Grimm in the film, respectively.
