‘Terrifier 3’ in the works; David Howard Thornton expected to return

A third film in the cash-cow Terrifier series is in the works, Deadline reports.

Per the trade, Damien Leone is back to write and direct the latest jaunt of Art The Clown, while producer Phil Falcone will help steer the ship. David Howard Thornton is expected to reprise his role as Art, while Laura LaVera is expected to return as Sienna. The Coven will executive produce.

Filming is expected to get underway in November or December of this year on the project, said to be budgeted in the low-mid seven fig range, for release in late 2024. The most recent film in the series, Terrifier 2 was made for around $250k and pocketed $15m at the box office.
