‘Terminator’ icon headed to ‘Stranger Things’ for final season

Terminator (and for those Gen X’s reading, “Beauty and the Beast”) heroine Linda Hamilton is returning to the Reagan-era for the next, reportedly final season of Netflix juggernaut “Stranger Things”.

Hamilton’s anointment was announced by Giant Freakin Robot who states that although the veteran thesp’s role in the series is unknown it is believed to be a “major role.”

The Children of the Corn actress joins a long line of fellow ’80s icons who have guest-starred on the series including Sean Astin, Cary Elwes, Paul Reiser, and Matthew Modine, who of course played the main villain of the first season.

“Stranger Things” Season 5 is headed to televisions of all shapes, sizes and brands in the summer of 2025.
