The ongoing writer’s strike has seen Marvel temporarily pull the plug on Thunderbolts, actor David Harbour has confirmed.
Uniting comic book faves Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, U.S. Agent, Ghost, and Taskmaster on screen, the super soldier-skewed superhero pic has ceased production until – well, assumingly – a deal is made.
Another Marvel project, Wonder Man has also been put on pause due to the WGA strike.

In addition to Harbour, the film will star Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, and Olga Kurylenko, among others. Jake Schreier directs.
With the film scheduled to open July of next year, you’ve got to wonder whether the studio mightn’t push the release date for Thunderbolts back.
