Blue Beetle star Xolo Maridueña says he’s ready to reprise the role of Jamie Reyes when and if Warner Bros decides to push ahead with sequels to the next DC Comics adaptation, the first of which is due August 18.
Speaking about the film recently with Empire, the “Cobra Kai” star says he’s pumped to go again.
“If we get one movie or a trilogy and f—- fold this into the Justice League s—, we’re ready for the whole nine. For me and Angel [Manuel Soto, director] and the team, we kicked ass with this movie. It just depends on numbers.”
The character of Blue Beetle appears in the Batman : The Brave and the Bold comics and with that also on the docket at WB, chances are the actor might get to reprise his role in that.
