Likely due to the delays and hiccups the productions are suffering as a result of the ongoing WGA strike, Disney has had to push back a slew of their Marvel tentpoles.
Production delays on Blade and Thunderbolts have led to Walt’s co pushing the latter to Dec. 20, 2024, while the reboot of the Wesley Snipes classic goes to Feb. 14, 2025.
Also being tossed to another slot on the calendar, Captain America: Brave New World is moving from May 3, 2024, to July 26, 2024, Fantastic Four is now May 2, 2025. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is getting pushed back twelve months, from May 2, 2025, to May 1, 2026. That flick fills the spot vacated by Avengers: Secret Wars, which is jumping from May 1, 2026, to May 7, 2027.
In better news for superhero fans, Deadpool 3 has been pushed ahead from Nov. 8, 2024, to May 3, 2024 – likely because it isn’t really connected in storyline to those other Marvel movies.
