Warner Bros Discovery seem to be chopping most of The CW content.
Today, that ever-swinging axe took down “The Winchesters”.
The “Supernatural” spin-off, which featured appearances from parent series staple Jensen Ackles, only lasted a season.
The CW also axed the three-season running “Kung Fu” series.
“As we reimagine the new CW, we had to make some tough programming decisions,” the network said in a statement. “We thank our partners at Warner Bros. and the casts and creative teams of Kung Fu and The Winchesters for all their hard work, creativity and dedication.”
Those behind “Winchesters” are said to be hopeful someone else will pick up the series.
