Robert Downey Jr and Shane Black will reunite for a third time – following Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Iron Man 3 – for The Nightshade Chronicles, described as a “dystopian science fiction” story with “Blade Runner vibes”.
According to Giant Freakin Robot, who had the scoop on the project, Downey will play a retired detective brought back into action to solve a series of murders.
Downey’s last film was the directorial venture Sir, about the Iron Man actor’s legendary actor father.
