As part of the Universal presentation today at CinemaCon, Blumhouse’s Jason Blum and Halloween Ends director David Gordon Green took to the stage to present a new trailer for The Exorcist : Believer.
Here’s the feedback from those in attendance.
Whatever the young actors in The Exorcist: Believer were paid, it’s not enough. That movie looks horrifying and deeply upsetting. My favorite part of the trailer is when one of the teens looks at Ellen Burstyn and says “mother.” #CinemaCon

The Exorcist Believer looks terrifying. Two girls go missing and come back possessed. And since the parents have never seen anything like this they find someone who has, Ellen Burstyn. A very clever new evolution plus follow up to the original. Psyched to see more. #CinemaCon

“As David was beginning to end the Halloween franchise, he came to me with another idea. The Exorcist.”
Jason Blum and David Gordon Green are teasing THE EXORCIST: BELIEVER, bringing this story into the modern age.
