‘Ghostbusters 4’ adds Naniani, Oswalt, Acaster and Lind

Kumail Nanjiani (“Obi-Wan Kenobi”), Patton Oswalt (“Veronica Mars”), comedian James Acaster and Emily Alyn Lind (The Babysitter: Killer Queen) have boarded director Gil Kenan’s untitled Ghosbusters : Afterlife sequel at Sony.

Paul Rudd and Carrie Coon have also been confirmed, returning from the Jason Reitman directed 2022 film.

The new film, which will return the original films’ New York City and firehouse, is also expected to bring back original Ghostbusters players Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson (no word on Bill Murray) yet.

Production kicked off this week in the U.K on the film.
