The Star Wars movie that Lost alum Damon Lindelof is attached to pen will be a film set in the sequel trilogy era, according to an online insider.
Per Daniel RPK, who has the scoop, the films will reportedly bring back characters from Skywalker saga instalments The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker. No word on who those returning characters might be, though previous rumors suggested Daisy Ridley’s Rey was being eyed for a possible reprise.
Lindelof is writing the movie alongside Justin Britt-Gibson, while Ms Marvel‘s Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is directing.
The scooper adds that the protagonist of the film will be a new character played by a female of color.
