Batman no longer part of ‘Aquaman’ sequel!?

Things are changing very quickly and suddenly at DC

Warner Bros

While Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader reportedly shot scenes with Jason Momoa’s Aquaman in the most recent cut of Aquaman and the Lost City, test audiences that caught the film this week say there’s no sign of the Good Will Hunting actor in the film.

Michael Keaton originally shot the Batman appearance in the film – reprising the role he plays in next year’s The Flash – but a couple of months back news hit that Keaton’s scenes were being reshot with his Bat-predecessor Ben Affleck.

Now, according to industry insiders, neither Batman actor will appear in the movie.

This could change, of course, but at the moment the studio are screening a cut of the film that doesn’t feature any Bat-appearance.

It’s going to be an interesting week.
