The good news is, Dwayne Johnson convinced Henry Cavill to reprise Superman for this weekend’s Black Adam.
The bad news is, contrary to recent reports, there’s no deal yet for The Witcher star to headline his own Superman vehicle – in this case, the widely publicized Man of Steel sequel.
According to online tipsters, the Justice League alum has only committed to two “cameos” at this stage- wearing the cape in in Black Adam, and again in next year’s The Flash. What happens after that remains to be seen.
Glad it's confirmed that he doesn't have a new contract proving the people who said he already signed one wrong. But hope he will sign one soon. https://t.co/X3EUORkAqo

Had Cavill not reprised Superman for Black Adam, this is what would’ve happened – and oof, indeed!
So they were going to do another headless cameo but got a deal done at the liberal finish line, guess it “wasn’t always gonna happen” like you YouTube grifters keep trying to tell you pic.twitter.com/rVkJiCJCV9
