George McKay, who rose to prominence after his bravura turn in Sam Mendes’ 1917, is apparently Warner Bros’ top pick to take over for troubled actor Ezra Miller as the scarlet speedster.
Per online tipster, ‘My Time to Shine Hello’, the Hammersmith-born thesp would take over for Miller as Barry Allen for The Flash 2 – which, according to recent reports, has already been written despite the first film still not hitting theaters until summer 2023.

Other oft-reliable tipsters have confirmed the news, suggesting the actor – whose other credits include the 2017 horror film Marrowbone – is definitely someone being discussed for the DCEU gig.

I hear they have a shortlist in place with Mackay at the top. The only decision they’ll make after The Flash arrives is which actor will be the one to replace Ezra. https://t.co/Nh0O07ASZf
