According to online scuttlebutt, a deal for Neve Campbell’s to return “Scream 6” may have been reached after all. Further, the next film in that series – “Scream 7” – is apparently very reliant on Campbell returning for the next film, say the Twittersphere.

With “Scream 6” now shooting in Montreal, we thought we’d check the call sheet to see who else is listed as partaking in Paramount & Spyglass’s eagerly-awaited “Scream” (2022) follow-up.
The new film sees the survivors of the last film exiting Woodsboro for New Yorker where, of course, Ghostface also turns up.
In addition to directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, back at their post after helming the reboot-sequel last year, and writers Gary Busick and James Vandebilt, “Scream 6” will bring back Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Mason Gooding, Jasmin-Savoy Brown, and Courteney Cox from the previous instalment.
So who’s new?
Hayden Panettiere
The “Heroes” alum reprises her role of “Scream 4” survivor Kirby Reed.
Dermot Mulroney
The “Copycat” alum is back wearing a badge as a New York law-enforcer.
Lina Liberato
“The Light as a Feather” and “If I Stay” star has been cast in an undisclosed role.
Josh Segarra
The “Arrow” alum will play a mysterious role in the next film.
Jack Champion
The “Night Sitter” thesp, soon playing ‘Spider’ in “Avatar 2”, is in the film.
Devyn Nekoda
The “Utopia Falls” actress will be one of the New Yorkers encountering Ghostface.
Who isn’t returning?
While Neve Campbell recently announced she won’t be returning as Sidney Campbell, “Scream” (2022) actress Heather Mattarazzo also won’t be back as Heather Meeks.
“Scream 6” opens March 31, 2023.
