Ritz Cinemas showing horror classics this Halloween!

“Candyman”,”Halloween”, “Scream” and more screening over a whole weekend

Dimension Films

Ritz Cinemas tell us they’re having a whole weekend dedicated to classic retrospective horror films that are celebrating a significant anniversary this year.

First up is Brian de Palma’s peerless high-school horror “Carrie” (1976) screening on Friday 29 October at 8.30pm in celebration of its 45th anniversary.
Then there’s the cult cabin-in-the-woods horror “The Evil Dead” (1981) screening on Saturday 30 October at 8.30pm and celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
On Halloween day itself, there’s a family-friendly spooky option for kids who want to get in on the scary movie action; “The Addams Family” (1991) screens at 1.15pm and is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

Finally, Ritz also presents a 25th anniversary screening of the ultimate meta-slasher film “Scream” (1996) on Halloween night, Sunday 31 October at 6.15pm.
