Sony Pictures

With all the positive buzz on “Ghostbusters : Afterlife”, opening January 1, 2022, no surprise to hear that Sony Pictures are already readying those proton packs for a sequel.

Ernie Hudson, who reprises Winston Zeddemore for the Jason Reitman-directed ‘reboot’, tells FOX32 that a fourth “Ghostbusters” film might already be in the works.

Jake Hamilton asked the actor if he’d be keen on returning for another film, which he replied :

“If they threw it, I would be honored to do it. I’ve heard rumors they’re writing a new one, so we’ll see.”

Bill Murray’s Peter Venkman, Dan Aykroyd’s Ray Stentz, Sigourney Weaver’s Dana Barrett and Annie Potts’ Janine Melnitz also reprise their roles from the 1984 and 1989 “Ghostbusters” films for “Ghostbusters : Afterlife”.
