Fan favourite character to be introduced in Wonder Woman 3

Will then get her own TV spin-off, says insider.

DC Comics

While “Wonder Woman 1984” divided critics and fizzled at the box office  – largely due to its unfortunate release during the height of the pandemic – Warner Bros are pushing forward with a third instalment.

According to industry insider Daniel Richtman, the third in series will introduce the character of Nubia to the DCEU. Nubia, for the unversed, is an an ally and analogue of Wonder Woman. She’s the oldest twin daughter of Queen Hippolyta, formed from clay as a twin to Gal Gadot’s Diana.

In the comics, Nubia was kidnapped by Mars, who raised her, controlled her mind and manipulated her into helping him bring down the Amazons. That would later change and Nubia would become an ally.

Warner are already looking at spinning the character off into her own series after her debut in “Wonder Woman 3”.
