Sigourney Weaver rejoins her original “Ghostbusters” co-stars for the upcoming “Ghostbusters : Afterlife”, in cinemas January 1.
The “Alien” actress, reprising her Dana Barrett role in the Jason Reitman-directed reboot, tells ET Canada that the new film is a worthy sequel to the 1984 classic.
“It’s full of heart. It’s very funny. It’s very charming. And it will surprise everybody,” Weaver said. “It’s just a glorious film.”
From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. The film is written by Jason Reitman & Gil Kenan.
The Ivan Reitman produced film stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and Paul Rudd, with OG castmembers Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Annie Potts, and Ernie Hudson also returning.
