A possible test screening of director Matt Reeves’ “The Batman”, due, has revealed that the latest live-action adaptation of the DC Comics’ fave is more horror movie than superhero flick.
Online scooper ‘BlueRayAngel’ has heard from a contact who was lucky enough to attend the screening. The big reveal? The Robert Pattinson-starrer is not only epic, but brutal. The “Tenet” star reportedly narrates a film that is “very graphic, very dark, very scary” with Paul Dano “f*cking crazy”- in a good way – as the villainous The Riddler, we’re informed. The attendee also has high praise for Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman.
“The Batman”, also starring Colin Farrell as The Penguin and Andy Serkis as Alfred, is set for release on March 4, 2022.
