Due to the lockdowns in Victoria, New South Wales and Canberra, Marvel’s latest blockbuster will only be arriving in select states come September 2.
“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” will instead open on September 16 in the affected states.
The news was revealed via Doug Jamieson from The Jam Report :

The Destin Daniel Cretton actioner, filmed in Sydney, stars newcomer Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organisation.
Also aboard the film : Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng.
David Callaham & Destin Daniel Cretton & Andrew Lanham wrote the screenplay for the film.
