The good folks at FX must be pretty darn happy with how their television adaptation of Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi’s classic mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows is going. Despite the fact that the third season doesn’t drop until next month, the network has already announced the show’s renewal for a fourth season.
It goes without saying that there aren’t really any details to share about the forthcoming fourth season, other than it’s slated to air sometime in 2022.
In the meantime, FX have also shared a brand new trailer for the show’s third season, which airs September 2nd. It looks like it’ll pick right up from last season’s nail-biting finale, which left Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) torn between his beloved (if troubled) vampire family and embracing his vampire-hunting heritage.
The first two episodes of Season 3 will air on September 2nd, and both will be available for streaming via FX on Hulu the following day. Check out the brand new trailer below, and let us know what direction you think the series might be taking Guillermo and the gang!
