Alfre Woodard (“Annabelle”, “Star Trek : First Contact”) is joining Blair Underwood (“Gattaca”) and Sarah Silverman (“School of Rock”) in new psychological thriller “Viral”.
The film, says THR, sees Woodard play “Johnetta, a psychiatrist specializing in deep trauma. Silverman was earlier announced for the role of Emilia, the girlfriend to Andrew, played by Underwood, who falls into paranoia after his wife goes missing.
Andrew tries to escape a self-destructive cycle via Emilia, a victims advocate and self-help blogger who is dealing with her own demons from the past.”
Now shoowing in New York City, the film is written by Joe McClan and directed and produced by “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” actor Underwood.
