Tenet star set for Godzilla director’s next

After flirting with the genre in Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet”, John David Washington is returning to sci-fi terrain for “Godzilla” director Gareth Edwards’ next film.

Set up at New Regency, the plot of “True Love” is being kept under wraps but it’s said to be set in the near future and is based on an idea by Edwards, who will write and direct.

Edwards reunites with his “Rogue One” producer Kiri Hart on the project.
