Nathalie Emmanuel (the “Fast and Furious” franchise) and Garrett Hedlund (“TRON Legacy”) will star in “The Bride”, a Screen Gems thriller inspired by Bram Stoker’s “Dracula”.
Jessica M.Thompson will direct the film; Blair Butler wrote the original draft of the script, with revisions by “The Light of the Moon” alum Thompson.
Per Deadline, “the pic is a contemporary horror thriller that tells the story of a young woman who is courted and swept off her feet, only to realize a gothic conspiracy is afoot.”
Seen as a potential franchise starter, the movie kicks off at the end of the summer.
