Australia’s Zak Hilditch to direct Airborne with Alexandra Daddario

“San Andreas” and “Baywatch” actress Alexandra Daddario will star in Australian director Zak Hilditch’s mid-air survival-fight thriller “Airborne”.

Per Deadline, the versatile thesp plays a flight attendant who faces a mid-flight pandemic. When the deadly disease spreads throughout the plane, she must contain the infected passengers and against unlikely odds land the aircraft safely.

Hilditch hit the big time with 2014’s “These Final Hours”; he later directed an adaptation of Stephen King’s 1922″ and the mystery horror “Rattlesnake”, both for Netflix.
